We bought a 2GB memory card from a local computer store for about $8, used a free download of Picasa to re-size down our photos while keeping the best photo quality possible, and used a laptop that has a drive for the memory card to direct download the photos to the memory card. With it being a 7 inch frame the horizontal photos came out best but the vertical shots weren't too bad either. There is some variation with the color but it's not too bad. If you don't have the ability to direct download the shots from your computer on the memory stick you will either need to download them from your digital frame (without the ability to resize and taking up more space on your memory card,) or buy another cord to go from computer to frame. However, as soon as I plugged it in, many of the pictures would not display. Some pictures came up as red & white X's while others would display strange colors and other graphical glitches. I have no idea why this occurred and the instruction manual was of no help whatsoever.
